Chopping axe

A chopping ax can be used for a wide range of activities. This tool is used to chop or split wood. Forest axe

A forest ax is the larger and heavier version under the category of axes. Usually a forest ax is used for logging work or in forestry, for example to split wood. Because a forest ax is larger and heavier, it can be used for larger pieces of wood, so that you remove firewood, construction wood, or obstacles in the forest. Compared to a normal axe, the splitting ax has a wider ax head, which makes it possible to chop sharper and thinner. This makes a splitting ax suitable, for example, for splitting pieces of wood into smaller parts for fire or construction wood. The wider ax head ensures that you can cut between the wood fibers, so that the wood splits instead of being chopped. A variant of the traditional hammer is the splitting hammer. With its wider and heavier head you are able to create more impact power, allowing you to hit deeper into the wood. This allows you to work with less effort and the result is better due to the more even distribution of your forces.
