What do you use a scarifier for?

The scarifier cuts into the grass and ensures that the grass can grow unimpeded. This is necessary if your lawn has moss, weeds or stubborn thatch. Grass needs light to grow optimally, so that the grass looks healthy. By scarifying you contribute to healthy grass that can grow fully.

When do you scarify the grass?

For example, a scarifier with a petrol engine is often the most powerful of the three. On the other hand, the verticutter does make more noise, in contrast to a verticutter with a battery. This one has slightly less power in comparison. An electric scarifier is powerful and quiet, but then you have a plug and you need to have a socket nearby.
