Stihl Mowing head PolyCut 48-2

To reduce noise and significantly increase energy efficiency when mowing thick grass with a brush cutter, the PolyCut 48-2 cutting head is equipped with two robust plastic blades instead of a cutting line. So you can use your cordless brushcutter much longer with just one charge. For the petrol brushcutters, the use of plastic blades leads to lower fuel consumption compared to a line-based mowing unit. Six plastic replacement blades are also supplied with the mowing head. Optionally, you can equip the STIHL PolyCut 48-2 mowing head with a cutting line with a diameter of 2.4 mm or 2.7 mm, ideal for working along curbs or other obstacles.

STIHL plastic blades are also easy to replace. After you have secured the shaft with the locking pin supplied with your brushcutter or brushcutter, you can unscrew the cutting head and easily replace the blades. To reduce wear and increase the cutting height, the STIHL PolyCut 48-2 is equipped with a protective plate as standard.

You can also use this cutting head with the brushcutters STIHL FS 160, STIHL FS 220, STIHL FS 300 and STIHL FS 350, which have been permanently discontinued.
