With a total length of 330 cm, the cordless pole hedge trimmer STIHL HLA 86 is ideal for maintaining high hedges and shrubs, but also for plants close to the ground. The machine appeals to gardeners and landscape gardeners as well as municipal workers and janitors with its excellent ergonomics thanks to its lightweight square telescopic handle. This allows you to increase the working range of the machine by 70 cm without tools. The double-sided sharpened blades ensure impeccable cutting results. They are powered by an EC motor that is so quiet that you can use the machine in noise-sensitive environments such as residential areas without any problems.
The rotatable blade bar can be folded parallel to the handle for easy transport and rotated up to max. 115° (from -45° to +70°). The control handle has a lever for automatic locking. It is very easy to handle, both for left and right-handers. In order to work efficiently at all times, the handle is equipped with an anti-slip protection.
All cordless tools of the STIHL AP system are designed for professional users and for everyday use, even in bad weather. That is why they are equipped with proven protection against splashing water. Its effectiveness is proven by rigorous internal testing. The splash water test is based, among other things, on the IPX4 standard.
